My Trip to LA 

Two weeks ago, I went to LA for a school drama trip. The first picture was taken the morning we left. It was raining the morning we left, but we saw a double rainbow. We took a bus down, which was not fun. That morning, I woke up sick to my stomach. I ended up getting sick on the bus, but I felt better once we got off the bus. Once we got to the hotel, we had about an hour to settle in to our rooms. The second photo was taken from the glass surrounding the pool. It was raining when we got to LA, so it was quite damp and cold. During our free hour, we explored around the hotel. The third picture was taken on a ledge in the parking garage. The hotel was full of murals and pictures of old Hollywood. That night, we had a lot of free time to explore downtown LA. My friends and I decided to go to Shake Shack. It was good, but I was still feeling kind of sick. We also decided to go to Madame Tussaud’s. I had never been, so it was a lot of fun! The fourth picture my friend took at Madame Tussaud’s. I am a fan of marvel, so I enjoyed the superhero area of the museum. Once we left, we just decided to walk around the city and go into different shops. I found the Disneyland star, picture 5, outside of the Disney store. I love Disney, so I couldn’t miss the photo op. Right next to the Disney store was the theatre where Mary Poppins was premiering. I took photo 6, which is my favorite photo. I think that the colors turned out so vibrant, It’s awesome. We did not go to the premiere, but we could see red carpet from the outside. The next day I woke up miserable, I had a slight fever, I was feeling really nauseous, it was awful. I had called my mom, and I knew I was sick because I so not get homesick. She agreed to pick me up that day. Before she got to LA I got to go to the grove with my class, which was really fun. Pictures 7-9 are all from the grove. I did not want to leave, but I knew that I would not get better by staying on the trip. I spent the next three days at home sick as a dog. Even though I had to leave early, I still had a great trip!
